Tracking insider trading on Telegram

InsiderTradingRadar delivers alerts by email and Telegram, and you can use either one or both. Email is the default -- it works the moment you sign up, with nothing to configure. Telegram is optional, and it's built for people who want alerts to show up where they're already watching markets throughout the day, rather than checking an inbox.

How Telegram delivery works

Once your Telegram chat is linked from your account page, any alert rule with Telegram enabled sends its digest as a Telegram message, formatted the same way as the email version -- issuer, transaction type, size, and a link back to the original SEC filing. Email and Telegram are delivered independently: if you enable both channels on a rule, each one tracks its own delivery history, so turning one off later doesn't affect the other.

Why Telegram specifically

A lot of active trading discussion already happens in Telegram and Discord communities. Getting a filtered, correctly-classified alert directly in the same app you're using to follow markets removes a step compared to checking email or a dashboard. It's also just a fast, lightweight push channel -- no app to build, no notification permissions to configure beyond what Telegram already handles.

What you still get by default

Telegram is additive, not a replacement. The same filtering rules apply regardless of channel: exclude 10b5-1 scheduled sales, exclude tax-withholding and compensation awards, set a minimum dollar value, restrict to a ticker watchlist. Every alert -- on either channel -- includes the same historical forward-return context (with sample size disclosed) and links back to the source SEC filing.
